In Memory Of

(A Page dedicated to all our furry babies who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge)

Just this side of Heaven is a
place called Rainbow
When an animal dies that
has been especially close to
someone here,
that pet goes to Rainbow
Bridge. There are meadows
and hills for all of our special
friends so they can run and
play together. There is
plenty of food, water and sunshine
and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;
those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,
just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing:
they each miss someone very special, someone who was left
They all run and play together, but the day comes
when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.
His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver.
Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass,
faster and faster. You have been spotted,
and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face;
your hands again caress the beloved head,
and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone
from your life,
but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...

This is a dedication to NY Mews Dreamweaver of Kasiakatz aka "Mimi" who was once a part of the Kasiakatz family and went to live with Trent and Ken in New Jersey and was much loved by them and sadly passed away of heart failure after happily living with these two wonderful guys for far too short a time. She will never be forgotten by us. She was such a sweet and special girl.

Friends of Kasiakatz, Adam and Kim Garrett from Indiana, who bought Punkin from our cattery, a wonderful red tabby Persian asked to have a dedication made on this page to their wonderful boy who passed away last fall 2008. He was much loved and is dearly missed.

Sapphire was a beautiful girl that lived with Ashlee and Burris in Pittsburgh, PA. She was so special that they decided to show her at a couple of CFA shows and she became Kasiakatz first "Grand Premier". Sadly Sapphire became ill in January of 2011. Ashlee and Burris decided that it was time for Sapphire to join all the other beautiful kitties that had made the journey over the "Rainbow Bridge". She is now at peace and enjoying her new life without pain along with her many new friends awaiting the day when she can rejoin members of the beloved family she left behind.

Red Artic Sunset aka Sunny was my very first male Himalayan that I purchased to start my breeding program. He had such beautiful blue eyes and very pretty face and of course I didn't want anything but a flame point to give me more of the orange color points that I love so much. He gave me many beautiful babies. When I decided to retire him, a wonderful loving lady named Ruth, who lives in North Carolina saw his picture and fell in love with his pretty face and Sunny went to live with Ruth along with his flame point daughter, Pebbles.

 Sadly, Sunny became ill after many but not enough wonderful years with Ruth.  Loving him dearly, she knew she had to take away his physical misery and it was time to send him across the "Rainbow Bridge". On November 11, 2012, Ruth, with much pain in her heart told Sunny to go to heaven to her mansion and wait for her there. She told him her mansion has a bed the size of Texas so she can have it full of cats. She told him to wait on her pillow where he liked to sleep. She knows that is where he is right now.

 Bless you Ruth for loving our boy so much, I couldn't have picked a better caretaker to make his remaining years so wonderful.

From the silence of your pain, I heard my name and on the wings of light I have come to see the sadness in your eyes that cry without tears. Can you see me, I am here, I will always be near you, to calm your shattered heart and to make you smile at the memories. Do you feel me, perhaps a soft brush of fur. You ache to believe it's real but you are afraid to hope, you brush away a strand of hair, but it was I, whispering. I am only here for a moment. The silver thread gently quivers. I will leave behind my love in a dream. When you awaken, and without really knowing why, your heart will know at last that it is all right for now to say goodbye.
